SUMMARY:European Utility Week
DESCRIPTION:European Utility Week 2019 \nEuropean Utility Week is THE end-to-end energy industry event. \nThe event hosts all players from the energy and power sector and facilities networking and business opportunities as well as discussions around achieving a fully integrated and interconnected electricity system and market in Europe. \nWith an expected audience of over 18\,000 international power and smart energy professionals\, European Utility Week will take place in the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on the 12-14th November\, 2019. \nThis year European Utility Week will co-locate with POWERGEN Europe\, an event that has established itself as the centre point for the power generation sector. With over 800 exhibitors\, both events will offer unrivalled opportunities for anyone in the energy space looking to source solutions and services within the European end-to-end energy ecosystem. \nThe 3-day event will also address the most pressing challenges for the industry as it pursues its transition and goals of decarbonisation targets set through to 2050 offering cutting edge content in the form of a 3-day Summit as well as a free Hub Session programme. \nOn 14th November 2019\, EER President\, Michele Governatori\, took part in the European Utility Week Summit Session on Energy Retail Markets to address the issues that still have to be overcome in order to reach an integrated compertitive EU energy retail market.
